Georgian soldiers are leaving the Kabul-based U.S. Camp Phoenix base, which will cease to exist. Georgian Defense Ministry told Trend on Aug. 15 that the soldiers of the reinforced platoon of the 13th Battalion of the Georgian First Infantry Brigade held a solemn ceremony honoring the completion of the ISAF operation. The mission of the reinforced platoon of the Georgian First Infantry Brigade's 13th Battalion lasted five months.
